Their best yet. Proggers new to CC will need to listen to the album a few times (like many good prog albums), before it 'clicks' - and it's worth it for the "a-ha!" moment you'll experience. No weak tracks. Excellent musicianship. Great melodies. Heaviness and lightness mixed together to create epic tracks. This is fresh symphonic, threaded with dark and heavy vignettes. New, yet sprung from the tap roots of prog rock. Original, yet redolent of early prog. It's a good job that I'm listening to it right now, because it means I can enjoy writing this last, very long sentence that will ensure that this review reaches the minimum 100 (one hundred) words required for it to be published. bridgebuilder | 5/5 |
