If you'd like to send me photos to include in next week's "pets on furniture" post, please ensure your photos follow my basic rules: First, the pet must be on a piece of furniture. And?said piece of furniture must be clearly visible in the photo, so it takes center stage rather than your pet.?Think of it more of a photo of a great piece of furniture that you want to show off...and your pet happens to be sitting on it. And second, the photo must be of?decent quality.?If it's dark or fuzzy then it may not make the cut. I would love to share a photo of our dog Toto. We always have a hard time photographing Toto because he is a jet black color, but we think we found just the right spot. We also just noticed that he is totally posing with one leg up on the arm of the chair!

I send 3 pictures of my rabbit because I couldn't decide which one I love the most. He's a sweet bunny, his name is Kakarot and he loves to jump over our furniture. Fortunately he never destroys any of it! I'm an architect and my mother is an interior design, we are from Brazil and we just love this charming armchair!

Mei-Mei was adopted as a kitten from Toronto Cat Rescue who is allowed on almost all the furniture. Finnegan is a Labrador Retriever who graciously accepts Mei-Mei's dominant alpha leader position.

I received an email back from Annik of last week's second pet post.
Yes, the fluffy grey cat sitting on the wooden chair is really that huge. I?ve recently found another picture of hers in my archive, this one should make things clear as far as size is concerned?And by the way: The pictures have actually been taken in two different houses I?ve lived in the past few years.
