The ?Happiness? Gene
Common people would say that happiness comes within and is influence in a cultural standpoint However, according to an article in Men?s Fitness, happiness can be influenced by more than just cultural factors.
Based on a study published in the journal Progress in Neuro-Psychopharmacology & Biological Psychiatry, happiness can also be influenced in a genetic way. Researchers have found out that men and women possess what they called as the ?happiness gene?. But this gene only greatly affects the mood of women and has not substantial effects towards men. ?The findings in men are assumed as caused by the hindrance level of testosterone.
The study does not imply that genes can control the way we live a happy life. There are so many ways we can achieve happiness in our own ways. One example is exercise. Working out is said to improve one?s mood. Another way is by laughing. It may seem clich? but laughing can be the best medicine to sadness and depression.

A Great Alternative Shoulder Exercise
According to Jeremy DuVall of Men?s Fitness, doing the same exercise routine can lead to boredom and decrease of motivation. So he advised that people should modify their exercises for about every 3 to 4 weeks. This is to keep your workouts fresh, more challenging. In addition, it can also speed up your progress.
Be careful of modifying your exercise. Regular change can prevent the body from adapting to the stimulus. As a result, this will only halt any progress. For Jeremy, the real key is the figure out the right balance in order to maximize your workout.
One example Jeremy mentioned in the article is by replacing the old barbell shoulder press with a barbell push press. The difference between the two exercises is that the traditional shoulder press solely relies on the upper body strength. With the barbell push press, you are able to work out the entire body and at the same time develop timing and coordination. In simple words, it both uses the strength of the upper and lower body. Using the legs enables you to carry more weight and put more stress on the shoulder. For this reason, you are able to boost the development of your shoulder muscles as quickly as possible.

The Color Run
In this article review, I will feature a unique kind of run which they called as the ?color run?. This race event was merely participated by the Greatist group with the ?G? logo printed in the front of their shirt.
The color run is a 5k marathon that is less about speed but more about the multi-hued colors which were like painted in their body. Every kilometer, people were given a blast of colors. Each zone has a different color. The colors are yellow, pink, red, or blue. This is a short race but some have skipped or just walked through their way to the finish line but other maintained their composure and stuck with the fight.
The greatest members really had a fun time completing the race. Their bodies were full of colors as if they were an abstract painting. After the race, a party with booze and dancing took place.
